Roberta Glennon-Rule, a 16-year-old understudy at Everett High School in Lansing, Michigan, wore a neon tank with the words “Authorize GAY!” on it to class yesterday. Roberta, who composes on her Tumblr that she “was raised by my two moms” and is a “solid backer for the LGBT group,” says a security watchman advised her that her shirt was wrong when she got the opportunity to class.
Inside five minutes of strolling into school, “a security gatekeeper instructed me to take it off,” she told Cosmopolitan.com. At initially, Roberta thought the security gatekeeper got out her tank top on the grounds that the width of its straps disregarded the clothing standard.
