Describing English women’s fashion as ‘scruffy’, the 31-year-old struts out about how she thinks about French women’s fashion to be in a ‘different league’ to her fellow countrymen.
The artiste – who is the face of chic French brand Caroll – says she likes the system women dress on the other side of the Channel, adding up that their ‘classic, timeless’ look is much more gratifying than London girls’ incompatible clothes.
Asked what she imagines of French style in a conference with newspaper complement Madame Figaro, she replied: ‘So chic, so timeless… You French are in a different league in terms of elegance. Also, you’re naturally slim.
‘English girls are so much scruffier, particularly in London where people really wear completely anything, in any old way. ‘French girls supervise to look attractive even when they’re not building an attempt.
Sienna Miller 31 also revealed she is a big devotee of urban street wear and requirements she was daring sufficient to drag off the look she believes is one of the most exceptional to hit the landing strip in decades.
She explained: ‘I’ve been intrigued by the influence of hip-hop in fashion recently and girls who play with a new aesthetic. ‘I’ve always thought women’s fashion was a invariable cycle that looks from the 40s, 50s or 60s were frequent in a loop.
‘But the arrival of street wear is something actually fresh. ‘Unfortunately it’s not quite my style… I would have loved to have been able to wear completely crazy outfits covered in graffiti.’
